Veterans Deduction

Veterans Deduction in the amount of $250. Must be an honorably discharged veteran. Must establish residency in the state of New Jersey 1 year prior to application. Must file an application with the with the tax assessor along with a copy of your driver’s license and DD-214.

100% Disabled Veterans who suffer from an injury sustained from a war time act. (Exempt from real-estate taxes). Must file an application with the tax assessor. Provide copy of your driver’s license, DD-214 and Veterans Administration Award letter declaring your status at 100%.
