Senior Citizens deduction in the amount of $250. Must be 65 or older by October 1st of the pretax year. Must be a resident of the state of New Jersey, and your combined income cannot exceed $10,000 per year excluding Social Security. Must file application with the Assessor’s Office along with a copy of your driver’s license as proof of age and residency.
