Reminder: Hamilton Township residents must use a cart to place out recycling for collection including all cardboard and paper.

WHY? ACUA will soon be using an automated truck in your community for recycling that is only compatible with carts. The dumping area on this type of truck is physically too high to empty containers by hand. For this reason, our crews will no longer pick up recycling material from a bucket or material that is left outside of your container.

I HAVE EXTRA, WHAT DO I DO? The 96-gallon carts hold a lot of recycling, including broken down cardboard! If you still have overflow, you may use any cart that is compatible with our trucks for recycling. We do ask that it is properly labeled for recycling material. ACUA can supply residents with recycling stickers.
